  (or τοσοῦτον, see entry near the end); Epic dialect τοσσοῦτος; Aeolic dialect τεσσοῦτος (which see); ={τόσος} in all senses, but like{τοσόσδε} with stronger demonstrative sense: Homerus Epicus has both common and Ep. forms, but not so frequently as τόσος or τόσσος, while in Trag. (not in Euripides Tragicus) it is common, and in Prose the prevailing form, compare τοσόσδε:—frequently answered by the Relat. ὅσος, Sophocles Tragicus “Philoctetes” 1076, Plato Philosophus “Respublica” 330b, etc. ; by ὁπόσος, prev. author “Smp.” 214a, etc. ; by ὅστις, Herodotus Historicus 7.49 ; also by adverb ὡς, Odyssea Homerus Epicus “Odyssey” 21.402 ; τ. ἐγένετο ὥστε..
